Caesar-Option #5-(Brutus's speech to the people, against a monarchy)

Romans, countrymen, and lovers!
A government run by one
would have great detriment upon our city.
You will be make aware of the atrocities
that will occur if this state is allowed to exist.
Peril to your homes, children, and selves.
Placed into slavery under forceful hands.
Pried from your residences, freedom no longer an option.
One man alone can not rule with a just an honorable hand.
Instead of freedom, if any be drawn toward bondange,
let him voice his concerns. Be there any?
Be there any noble Roman who would rather a state
in which he is not free, that a state in which he is
liberated and allowed to do as he pleases?

(Silence)

Then none shall want to speak in favor of this new proposed state?
We shall stand, as a state, in nobility and honor
our rights will not be carelessly flung away.
As a people, we will endure.
